At VAYGO, we stand behind the quality of our materials, craftsmanship, and modular engineering. This policy explains the warranty coverage for the GO TOTE, along with care guidelines to ensure long-lasting performance.

1. Warranty Coverage Period

VAYGO offers a limited 1-year warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal usage conditions.

This warranty applies to:

  • YKK metal zippers
  • PU & PVC-based vegan leather material
  • Stitching and structural workmanship
  • Modular attachment system (zippers and panel joins)

2. What Is Covered Under Warranty

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, including but not limited to:

a. Zippers

  • Manufacturing defects in YKK metal zippers
  • Zipper detachment or failure not caused by force, misalignment, or debris
  • Improper zipper installation defects

Zippers are designed for long-lasting performance under normal use. Minor stiffness during panel interchange is normal and not considered a defect.

b. Material & Stitching

  • Abnormal peeling, cracking, or splitting due to manufacturing defects
  • Stitching defects or unraveling not caused by usage or friction
  • Structural defects in panel construction

c. Modularity System

  • Defects in zipper alignment or attachment caused during manufacturing
  • Structural issues preventing normal panel interchange (excluding misuse)

3. What Is NOT Covered Under Warranty

The warranty does not cover:

a. Normal Wear & Tear

  • Creasing or softening of material over time
  • Surface marks, scratches, or scuffs from regular handling
  • Colour variation or fading due to lighting, sun exposure, or ageing

b. Misuse or Improper Handling

  • Damage caused by forced or misaligned zipper attachment
  • Zipper damage due to dirt, sand, or debris
  • Damage caused by pairing heavily worn panels with newer components
  • Overloading the bag beyond reasonable capacity

c. External & Environmental Factors

  • Water damage
  • Heat exposure or prolonged direct sunlight
  • Chemical exposure (alcohol, solvents, perfumes, cleaners)
  • Accidental cuts, tears, or impact damage

d. Modifications

  • Repairs, alterations, or customisations not authorised by VAYGO
  • Use of third-party accessories affecting the structure or zippers

4. Modularity & Interchangeability Disclaimer

The GO TOTE is designed to allow free interchange of panels purchased at different times. However, damage resulting from:

  • Forced attachment
  • Misalignment
  • Excessive wear of older components
  • Incompatible condition of panels

is considered misuse and is not covered under warranty.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To raise a warranty claim:

  • Contact VAYGO customer support
  • Share order details and clear images or videos of the issue
  • Allow time for inspection and verification

Important

  • Claims must be raised within the 1-year warranty period
  • Final approval of warranty claims rests solely with VAYGO

6. Resolution & Shipping

  • For approved manufacturing defects:

1. Replacement is the primary resolution

2. Shipping will be borne by VAYGO

  • Refunds are issued only if replacement is unavailable
  • For rejected claims:

1. Shipping costs (if applicable) will be borne by the customer

7. Product Care Guidelines

To maintain your GO TOTE:

Cleaning

  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth
  • Avoid alcohol, solvents, or harsh cleaners

Usage

  • Align panels carefully before zipping
  • Avoid forcing zippers
  • Keep zippers free from dust and debris
  • Avoid overloading

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
  • Do not fold or compress heavily

Proper care significantly extends the life of PU and PVC-based vegan leather products.

This policy works in conjunction with:

  • Terms & Conditions

In case of conflict, VAYGO’s decision shall be final.
